Short Term Volunteer

You can volunteer for a minimum of 4 weeks. We'll assign you to tasks according to your skills and in accordance with our needs when you arrive.

You'll be required to work up to 8 hours a day, 6 days a week.

Tasks may include (but are not limited to):

• Maintaining Animal Habitats

• Preparing Meals for Animals

• Giving Tours

• Fundraising

• Social Networking

• Article writing

• Photography

• Videography

• Web Design

• Sign Making

• Painting and Other Art

• Construction

• Email Correspondence

• Gardening and Landscaping

Taking Part in Community Integration and Education

Please note that Wild Sun is a rescue center, not a petting zoo.

While the idea of being up close and personal with wild animals is exciting, we require our volunteers to be fully dedicated to the rehabilitation and safety of every animal in our custody.

We receive many hurt animals that are beyond saving, despite our best efforts. This can be heartbreaking work.

We expect each volunteer to be fully committed to the causes which we represent.

Volunteer Fee

Shared Simple Room - $625 per week (includes meal plan)

Shared Deluxe Room - $825/wk (includes meal plan)

A 25% non-refundable deposit for your program fee is required to make a reservation. We will send you an invoice via PayPal after your application has been approved.
