There are many ways for you to get involved and support wild sun:
Wild Sun is a non-profit organization, and as such, we rely on your support. We are funded through donations and proceeds from Wild Sun Jungle Resort, internships, vet externships and retreats.
Donations are essential to our ability to rescue, rehabilitate and release wildlife. All levels of giving make a difference! Options include:
A monthly gift provides sustained support. $100/month is enough to provide food for one howler monkey for a month

Buy Wild Sun merch (100% of proceeds support our projects)

Donations are tax deductible for US-based individuals and corporations. All donations go directly toward feeding, care, medical needs and housing of wildlife. Wild Sun is fiscally sponsored by Green Wave Enterprises, 501c3 in the USA.
Social support. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube and share our updates and fundraisers with friends and family.
Volunteer with us! Minimum time commitment is 4 weeks, but incentives are given for longer stays. For 12-week commitments, you get to work more closely with a wider range of wildlife and can volunteer for free if you stay off site or take advantage of major discounts to stay in shared housing. If you live locally, you can volunteer part-time with the animals or offer up other skills that come in handy at a rescue center, like sewing, gardening, composting, plumbing, carpentry.
Intern. Thinking about a career in wildlife biology, conservation, veterinary medicine, or related fields? Join us in Costa Rica for an internship! Or, our pre-vet internship provides hands-on experience, career development and relationships with vets for recommendation letters to help with vet school applications.
Vacation with us at Wild Sun Jungle Resort. Just by booking a night stay you can contribute to the welfare of countless animals, conservation and biodiversity in Costa Rica.
Supplies. If you are coming to Costa Rica, you can support us with non-monetary gifts from our Amazon wish list. Every contribution helps!
If you live nearby, donate items that may not be of use to you anymore, but of great use to us: blenders (for animal diet preparation), towels, pillowcases, blankets, sheets, rakes, clippers, wire cutters, tools, building or fencing materials, wooden pallets, buckets, etc. Or if you run a local business and have fruit or veggies you can’t use, donate them to our animals.
Local animal rescue. Could you help us get injured animals transported to the clinic in the Montezuma-Santa Teresa-Cobano area? Please send a message to 506 88848444 that you would like to be added to the animal transport group.
