You can also add, for an additional cost, Spanish and yoga classes, surf lessons, a zip line canopy tour, butterfly gardens, ATV tours, sunset horseback riding on the beach and other fun activities.
Our short term volunteer program is for anyone over 12 years of age. Experience not necessary. Tasks may include but are not limited to preparing food for animals, cleaning kennels and enclosures, making toys for enrichment, social media, writing, construction, etc.
Our Long-Term and Full-Term Volunteer positions as well as our Internship Program are tailored to the experience level and needs of the applicant. We welcome veterinarians, vet techs, students, people with prior rescue center experience, groups, and individuals that want to volunteer for extended periods of time.
Our CARES program is designed for you to gain real world field experience in veterinary medicine. This program is designed either for pre-veterinary students looking to set themselves apart in the highly competitive world of vet school admissions, or for vet students who can receive school credit for their 4 week field externship.
