Thank you so much for your interest in our project! When you donate, resources go to the building of our new enclosures, our veterinarian building (which will include the nursery, intensive care area, exam room, office space, and feeding station), the breeding area and release sites for scarlet macaws, walkways, and fencing.
Once the facility is finished we will be completely sustainable through our volunteer and educational programs. These programs will not only be based at the center but also be involved in community efforts, such as, beach clean ups, reforestation projects, and educational programs in local schools.
We are a Costa Rican Non-Profit Association, fiscally sponsored by Green Wave 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization and Public Charity of the United States. As such, when you donate, you may be able to deduct the sum your from taxes.
Thank you SO MUCH to all who have donated so far.
